Manjima Mohan hails from Trivandrum, the capital city of Kerala. She was born on 11th March 1993 to Mr. Vipin Mohan, a cinematographer and a dancer Kalamandalam Girija. Being born to a cinematographer, she had the chance to enter the world of screens at a very young age. Manjima has completed her schooling from Nirmala Bhavan Higher Secondary School, Trivandrum, Kerala. Further she pursued a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics from Stella Maris College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Career Life of Manjima Mohan
Manjima Mohan is the daughter of veteran cinematographer Vipin Mohan, hence the world of screens is very familiar to her. She made her debut in the silver screens as a child artist in the year 1998. Her debut movie was “Kaliyoonjal”, directed by Anil Babu. It is a Mamooty film where Manjima appeared as his sister Gauri (portrays young age of Shalini). In her very first film itself Manjima made her presence known through her cuteness. Also she was lucky to start her career with megastar Mamooty. In the same year itself another movie of Manjima was released. It was a Kunchako Boban film “Mayilpeelikavu”, starring Jomol in the female lead role. In this film Manjima appeared as the relative of Gayathri, the female lead. This role too was a prominent one for little Manjima, who has put her full efforts to make it successful.
The 1999 movie “Saaphalyam” was the next release of Manjima Mohan. The film directed by G.S Vijayan, had Suresh Gopi and Sangita in the male and female lead roles respectively. Manjima Mohan appeared as ‘Maya’ in this film. Maya is the daughter of Vishnu (Biju Menon) and Priyamvadha (Samyuktha). The film features Nivin Pauly, Manjima Mohan, Aju Varghese, Neeraj Madhav and Vineeth Sreenivasan in the lead roles. The movie is about how the social networking medias can be used to cheat people and about the intensity of such cheating. The film was a super hit at the box office and was one of the biggest grosser of the year. In the film “Oru Vadakkan Selfie”, Manjima Mohan appeared as ‘Daisy George’, a Christian girl who shifts to a house Near Nivin Pauly’s (Umesh) house with her family. Daisy is in love with Hari Narayanan through facebook but she has never seen him. One fine day Daisy will be missing and Umesh will be caught by the people for Daisy’s missing. Then the story revolves around how Umesh finds out Daisy and then her love story with Hari Narayanan is revealed. But later on when they search for Hari, they came to know that Hari is not alive and it was one of his fraud friend who was cheating Daisy in the name of Hari to make money.
