The increasing price of LPG gas cylinder sometimes spoils the budget of the people. People have been demanding for a long time to reduce the price of gas cylinders. In such a situation, if the prices of cylinders come down, then it can be a great relief for the people.
Meanwhile, big information about LPG cylinder is coming out. In fact, Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said on Thursday that if the price of fuel comes down in the international market, then the prices of LPG cylinders can be reduced.(ads1)
He pointed out that domestic LPG cylinders can be sold at “even more affordable rates” if the international price of the fuel comes down from the current price of $750 per metric ton. During the Question Hour in the Lok Sabha on Thursday, many issues arose along with the prices of domestic gas cylinders. Regarding the prices of gas cylinders, he said that the international price is determined by “various factors”.
Rs 1053 gas price in Delhi
Responding to DMK MP Kalanidhi Veeraswamy’s question in the Lok Sabha on the price of domestic LPG, Puri said the government is sensitive to the needs of consumers, especially those from the most vulnerable sections. Puri said that the retail selling price (RSP) of a domestic LPG cylinder (14.2 kg) is Rs 1053 in Delhi.
The government did not increase the prices in Saudi Arabia, an increase of more than 330 percent has been recorded in the prices of gas, but the government has increased the prices of cooking gas very little in comparison. In such a situation, if there is a reduction in the prices of gas in Saudi Arabia, then its effect will also be seen on the LPG cylinders available in the country.(ads2)
